Question:
How to you use the Dealer card gap adjustment feature – on the Select and the Premium dealer (Classic can be upgraded)
Needed when:
For example when the dealer have two cards caught in the gap at the same time (due to large a gap) or when one card is stopped (due to narrow a gap). Notice if the cards are damaged – for example bend corners – the dealer will stop the card move automatically.
Error type 95 and 96 can in most cases be fixed with an adjustment.
Level:
Advanced – Requires some technical understanding
First step:
First check – does your dealer have the gap adjustment option? – If not contact us by email
If a little socket screw can be seen in the core as shown in the left picture, the dealer have the gap adjustment option.
What you need:
- Hex key (Unbrako 1,3 mm)
- Two Bridge+More playing cards
Step two:
First make sure the dealer is turned off.
After the shutdown sequence is complete, open the lid.
Make sure the pins marked in the picture are retracted all the way back – else push them carefully back
Step three:
As next step please insert a single card into the core as shown above
Now move the card back and forth as shown – into and out of the gap
Notice the amount of resistance in the card gap when moving the card.
Step four:
If the card could not move freely back and forth, please go to the step five.
If the card could move freely back and forth with little to no resistance, tightening is required.
This is done by inserting the Hex (Unbraco) key into the socket screw in the core as illustrated above.
When inserted turn the Hex key, in very small steps of 5 degrees of a circle clockwise.
Then test the resistance of the card gap with the single card again as shown in the previous illustration.
Tightening needs to be done until a single card can no longer pass through the gap.
When this – not room for card in the gap – state is reached, loosen the socket screw minimally until a card once again can pass through the gap with limited resistance.
Then take card two and place it on top of card one – it should not be possible to move the second card into the gap. Please see this video on how to test with card two correct and not correct.
Step four:
If the card could not move freely back and forth, expanding the gap – loosening the screw – is required.
This is done by inserting the Hex (Unbraco) key into the socket screw in the core as illustrated above.
When inserted turn the Hex key, in very small steps of 5 degrees of a circle anticlockwise.
Afterwards test the resistance of the card gap with two cards as shown in a prior illustration.
Loosening needs to be done until a single card can pass through without resistance but not loosen to much as two cards can pass.
